Ben Wick was selected as Spokane Valley Mayor in 2020. In 2017, he had been elected to serve his second term on the Spokane Valley City Council. Ben graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He is a fourth generation Spokane Valley native putting him on the official pioneers list for the state as his family moved to the Spokane Valley area before the state was formed. He has served on the Spokane Regional Transportation Council and is currently serving on the Spokane Regional Health District as vice chair and the Visit Spokane Board. In addition to his public sector service, Ben is a manager at Spokane Industries responsible for the Information Systems, Purchasing, Shipping / Receiving, and production scheduling departments.
